Reverie is a story about a man who chose to pursue an acting career over settling down with the love of his life. Years later he runs into her and finds that she has married and had a child with another man. Just talking to her reminds him of what he lost and he fights to control his emotion during the interaction. He goes home and questions all of his life choices, was the fame and stardom he acquired really worth what he lost?

Lyrics - Reverie
See the moon rise up and down a canvas page,
And a girl gives up the love she couldn't let be,
Say you wanna release me,
Oh, oh, oh,
Say you don't want me around,
Oh as time adjusts the world they had once seen,
Chasing stars results in separate realities,
And he looks and sees the man that she's with,
And their child it's all he gave up you see,
You say you wanna release me,
Oh, oh, oh,
Say you don't want me around,
She cries 'It's you I've been waiting for all my life',
'But it's been so long',
Seven situations,
They're all I've ever seen,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
An' seven situations,
They're all I'll ever see,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
And as words evade he tries to hide his pain,
'You look well' she says looking straight at him,
And her gaze enamours him, it always did,
With a blink he lived the life he gave up, you see,
Say you wanna release me,
Oh, oh, oh,
Say you don't want me around,
She cries 'It's you I've been waiting for all my life',
'But it's been so long',
Oh, oh, oh,
And he hears it said over and over again,
'If we chase what we want, what does that mean for this?'
And he screams with tears inspired from,
From his lonely, broken heart for you,
Fame and lights, camera roll, ooh
Seven situations,
They're all I've ever seen,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
Oh seven situations,
They're all I'll ever see,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
I'll just concede to Reverie,
I'll just concede to Reverie.
